Restoration of an historic building in the center of the city, close to several cultural and archaeological sites. With this project was intended to give a new look and a new distribution to interiors, with fine finishes and extreme attention to detail. Andermann Engineering was responsible for the Design and for General and Specialistic Works Supervisions, managing issues related to interference due to the inherent complexity of an existing building complete renovation (structural measures, plants renovation, functional redistribution). Andermann Engineering has also conducted the cost and risk monitoring service, writing a monthly report for the Client with an indication of budget and time schedule respect, previously established, and was responsible for conducting negotiations with the Contractor relating to Variation Orders, which have become necessary during the works. All management and supervision activities were led by the Andermann Engineering staff, using specific technical and managerial tools required by the good practice. The project was concluded successfully with the achievement of cost, time and quality objectives initially agreed with the customer.
